The Vermont Division of Emergency Preparedness, Response and Injury Prevention and the Vermont Healthcare Emergency Preparedness Coalition is actively seeking speakers for its 2024 Vermont Healthcare Coalition, EMS, & Preparedness Conference which will be held June 14-16 at Jay Peak Resort in Jay, Vermont. Topics appropriate for healthcare preparedness, healthcare coalitions, healthcare providers, and EMS providers will be integrated throughout all conference days. Health equity is an important focus in Vermont, so we ask that all speakers integrate principles of health equity in their presentations.
The conference looks to offer attendees strategic presentations relevant to EMS, public health, healthcare, first responders, and emergency preparedness professionals in the areas of healthcare and public health emergency preparedness, response, and recovery. Successful submissions will focus on those topic areas and include health equity aspects.
Speakers should be dynamic presenters of a professional caliber and have previous speaking or teaching experience. All presentations will be allotted one hour for the presentation, including questions. The conference planning committee will review all submitted proposals and select those that best meet conference objectives. The Conference Planning Committee asks that all interested speakers submit at least two session proposals through the online form. Preferential selection will be given with consideration of the following elements:
